Get hands on with the RNLI

Are you a British based dive centre or dive club? Do you want to get your divers involved in RNLI training exercises?

Keeping your rescue skills fresh and current helps when you do have to manage a proper rescue

The RNLI are always keen to run a scuba diver and / or tech / rebreather rescue scenario because it helps educate everyone. And it is a good opportunity to explain the rescue staff on how you handle (and don't handle) a rebreather!

Simply contact your local RNLI station and make friends with the 'LOM' or Lifeboat Operation Manager.

Make a call and build a relationship. It will be fantastic training for your divers and the RNLI. Just keep in mind they are volunteers and what may suit you timing wise, may not fit in with their rescue scenario. Be flexible, everyone benefits and you will have safer divers.
