KUBI—the award winning dry glove manufacturer—has released a new glove liner.

KUBI Icelandic Wool thermal glove

A KUBI spokesman confirmed that the company had conducted six months of research and development, including in-water testing, prior to this launch. "We have been listening to customers feedback and requirements, and as a result we are now unveiling a new range of KUBI thermal gloves to be worn underneath our dry gloves."

Icelandic Wool

Icelandic wool dates back to the 9th century AD when early settlers brought sheep with them from Norway to the island. The sheep have not mixed with other breeds for centuries. As a result, today's sheep are very hardy, and capable of living on the challenging landscape under harsh climate conditions.

The wool has distinct qualities that cope with Iceland’s extreme weather patterns. The long coarse hairs (tog) are water-resistant, whilst the short hairs (þel) provide warmth. When the tog and þel hair fibres are combined and knitted together, they provide remarkable protection against both cold and wet weather.

Our customers advised us that they wanted a thinner cuff and a choice of sizes. KUBI

The new high quality gloves are knitted using 100% Icelandic Wool. They have been designed to be dived in harsh conditions, including under ice.
