This black galvanized corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy housing accommodates and supports almost all the functions of Nikon's D810 Digital SLR Camera.

The sturdy 100 metre / 300 feet depth rated housing has two sacrificial zinc diodes attached to the front and rear of the case for added protection against electrolysis damage. Internally there is a built in leak sensor and the diver has the ability to turn this on and off for testing.

There is a lens release button that allows you to change your lens without removing the camera from the housing. The housing also features zoom / focus gear that can be retracted in order to insert big diameter lenses. Simple Port changes have been designed in - the port lock can be activated / deactivated from outside the housing.

The MDX-D810 has easy to reach controls whilst holding the handle, with each button benefiting from a luminous label to make low level / night diving photography less of a faff.

External strobes can be fired with either the new internal optical YS converter or two fibre optic cables via cable sockets.
