Plastic fibres found in tap water, study confirms
The Guardian has reported today that microplastic contamination has been found in tap water.

The study was conducted by Orb Media, who shared the data with The Guardian newspaper. Tap water samples were taken from over 12 nations across the globe for analysis. It was found that 83 percent of the samples were contaminated with plastic fibres. Orb Media tested 18 sites in seven European countries. About 72 percent (13 countries) had plastic fibres in their tap water.
