Seahouses Harbour Slip Closed For The Summer

It has been reported that Seahouses Harbour Slip will be closed for Health and Safety (HSE) reasons from Monday 1st August for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.

Boats moored up at Seahouses Harbour
Contractors will be working on wave defences at this Northumberland harbour. This will affect divers visiting the Farne Islands.
It is not clear if the contractors are working weekends and if not, whether the slip will be cleared to allow launching.
It is recommended that divers call the Harbourmaster on +44 (0)1665 720033 for up-to-date information.
Apparently boats can be launched from Beadnell Bay Harbour with a tractor.
