Tribord launched the 'Easybreath Snorkeling Mask' after 6 years of research and development.

Tribord Easybreath Snorkeling Mask

Their brief was to invent a way for a watersports enthusiast to see and breathe underwater as naturally as they do on land. The resulting full face mask and snorkel combo solves the unnatural feeling non-divers can have when mouth breathing, because it allows natural breathing through both the nose or mouth.

The mask uses a double airflow ventilation system that prevents fogging. The user inhales through one portion of the tube and exhales through a different section of the tube. Other features include a purge valve to drain water when the head is raised and a highly visible snorkel. Finally a shatterproof polycarbonate lens provides the user with an unobstructed 180º view. This mask comes in two sizes and four colours and is not intended for free diving.

We think if this gets people excited about aquatic life, hopefully they will have more respect for the ocean, and possibly become a diver in the future. And that is a good thing.
