In 2002 the Women Divers Hall of Fame™ announced three scholarships awards to four individuals.

Today this nonprofit organisation has a plethora of scuba diving scholarships supporting educational support in various fields including marine conservation, marine biology, underwater archaeology and public safety diving.

This year received a record number of applicants and US$62,000 has been awarded to 44 individuals who are passionate about Planet Water.
