This is your opportunity to nominate a colleague who you think has made a positive contribution to the growth and sustainability of the Diving Industry. A person who has gone beyond the norm of their day-to-day job and "reached out" to make a difference for all.

All nominees must have been active in the Diving Industry for a minimum of 10 years and made a significant contribution to the sport of scuba diving.

Online submissions for this prestigious, international award need to be received by DEMA no later than 16.30 (Pacific time) on Friday 1 June 2018.

Typically a candidate is nominated a number of times before they receive the DEMA Reaching Out Award. Contenders come from various diving communities; environment, exploration, equipment design, publishing, science, photography, manufacturing and education.
